Serving the needs of the TLC Family.

The Caring Ministry encourages us to put faith into action through gestures of compassion and concern for the needs of those within the TLC family. The committee assesses needs, develops programs to help, and coordinates volunteers. God’s work. Our hands. Our programs include: cards, home communion, hospital visits, flowers, meals, once a month Communion with coffee fellowship at the church, rosebuds for newborns; handmade prayer shawls for those who are sick, have suffered a loss or are in a crisis, and Stephen ministers.

Stephen Ministers meet the second and fourth Thursdays of the month except in the summer and December. Training sessions for new Stephen Ministers are scheduled when a group requests it. Ministry Contact: The pastors and Ruth Sarna

Prayer Shawl Ministry meets third Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. Please contact the church office for location as it rotates in members' homes.

Communion Coffee meets the second Monday of the month at 10 a.m. in the chapel. This is for those who find a full worship service too taxing. It is followed by a fellowship time with refreshments and great conversation in the fellowship hall.
